Met Éireann has officially issued a warning for the third named storm of the season which is expected to bring severe winds of up to 130km/h to the north west.
The west coast of Ireland will be worst-hit by Storm Callum. A Status Orange Wind Warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry. The alert is in place from Thursday at 10pm until Friday midday.
Winds will be strongest overnight and early on Friday, gusting between 110 and 130 km/h at coasts.
