Twenty-nine more people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Donegal, NPHET reports this afternoon.
There are 545 new cases nationally and four more deaths confirmed.
Donegal’s 14-day incidence rate is now 293.4 per 100,000. There have been 467 new cases in the county in the last 14 days and the 5-day moving average is 40.
The county’s rate remains well above Ireland’s average 14-day incidence rate of 127.3 per 100,000.
Of the cases notified today:
- 294 are men / 244 are women
- 77% are under 45 years of age
- The median age is 29 years old
As of 8am today, 139 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 44 are in ICU. There have been eight additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
The latest date from Letterkenny University Hospital records 11 patients with Covid-19 receiving treatment. As of 8pm last night, one patient with Covid-19 was recorded in ICU.
