‘Non-essential’ retailers are reopening this doors this morning, many for the first time this year.
Since late December, many shops have been unable to serve customers in-store. The ban on click and collect was a further blow to traders, leaving many closed for almost five months.
But brighter days have arrived with main streets returning to life across Donegal. The day has finally come for retailers who promised they would be ‘back soon’.
Local chambers are urging shoppers now to ‘shop local’ and ‘stay local’ to support businesses at a crucial time.
