THERE was a tremendous turnout last weekend for the SuperValu (Buncrana) Stableford at Buncrana Golf Club.

With the course in superb condition, it was no surprise to see some excellent scores returned over the two days.

19 handicapper Paul Burns had a much welcome return to form and played some of his best golf for a while to shoot a tremendous 46 points.

This score easily secured the first prize for Paul with his nearest rival Seamus Coyle taking second place with 41 points on a break of tie.

The full results of the SuperValu Stableford Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th May 2021: 1st Paul Burns (19) 46 points, 2nd Seamus Coyle (21) 41 points b.o.t., Gross Christopher McCallion (2) 64 gross, 3rd Jack O’ Brien (10) 41 points b.o.t., Best Day Seamus Mc Laughlin (Sat) (17) 41 points, Back 9 Henry Mc Daid (18) 23 points.

Upcoming Fixtures

Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May Singles Stroke sponsored by James Bradley Filling Station Fahan. There is a timesheet in operation and it is advisable to book a tee time early to avoid any possible disappointment.
