A company in Stranorlar are counting the cost after thieves made off with more than €7,000 of goods.
It is understood the building materials were taken from the company’s premises on January 11th last.
It is understood the incident was captured on CCTV after it was examined after the materials were noted as missing.
The goods were loaded into a lorry and taken during the brazen daylight raid.
However, Gardai say the matter was only reported to them in recent days.
A Garda spokesperson said “Gardaí at Ballybofey are investigating the alleged theft of building materials worth in excess of €7,000 from a premises in Stranolar, County Donegal on the 11th of January 2024.
“The matter was reported to Gardaí in recent days. Enquiries are ongoing.”
