How Donegal Daily found our perfect employee...

So you’re looking for the perfect employee for your business and need a choice of CVs to choose from straight away? That’s where we come in.

Donegal Daily has a proven track record of placing hundreds of CVs into the email baskets of employers from across the county.

Because we know that job applicants no longer waste time printing CVs and running down to the post office looking for a stamp to finally reach its destination days later.

Within minutes of advertising their position on Donegal’s biggest news website, many of our advertisers are often flooded with CVs from our 50,000 daily readers.

To find out how simple it is to advertise your position on Donegal Daily, simply contact info@donegaldaily.com.

But why take our word for it? Below are just a few companies who have been more than happy with our service.

  • I had a 50% success rate with it so I decided to approach Donegal Daily about placing an advert. I've used their service about 3 or 4 times now and the results have been incredible. We normally put short requirements which would filter a little, however we had over 100 CVs sent to us on our latest advert from people living in all parts of Donegal but also people looking to return from Dublin and England. So whether you run a corner store or are one of the large employers in the county I would highly reccomend going first with Donegal Daily.

  • Each advert generated a large amount of CV submissions, allowing us to consider a great amount of excellent prospective employees. We were able to fill all seven positions on a budget that wouldn’t have covered one advert on any of the national job websites. We would definitely recommend using Donegal Daily for job advisements in the future as we most certainly will be.

  • I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Donegal Daily as a way of recruiting staff. I use them regularly to advertise jobs and the main reason for this is their ability to reach a wide range of people through their website and Facebook page at an affordable price. I found by advertising with them we received a lot of applications for each job and have had many successful candidates through this method.

Testimonials

  • We found Donegal Daily an extremely effective platform to advertise. We have used them a couple of times now for recruitment adverts and always got a huge response. They also offer an extremely friendly and efficient service. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

  • In my last business we recruited exclusively using recruitment agencies so when i returned to Ireland I used the same method. Recruitment firms are not cheap but for startups. I had a 50% success rate with it so I decided to approach Donegal Daily about placing an advert. I've used their service about 3 or 4 times now and the results have been incredible. We normally put short requirements which would filter a little, however we had over 100 CVs sent to us on our latest advert from people living in all parts of Donegal but also people looking to return from Dublin and England. The quality of the CVs surprised me and by the time I read the last one it actually saddened me, so many quality people seeking jobs. People with high quality degrees, 2 Degrees, Masters, MBAs and the roles were offering were entry roles, people really really want to work and live in Donegal. After reading the CVs and experience and interviewing, we met people with skills that we knew would really benefit our business in areas other than those we advertised for and i guess that was the benefit of using Donegal Daily, it has such a reach and whilst an agent will filter they wont know your business like you do, you recruit people not roles and sometimes not having that filter opens your eyes to other possible roles which can add value to your business. Ive found people were willing to take significant salary cuts to move back from Dublin (some weren't), the draw of Donegal is huge, its not that pull factor of people returning home, we received and interviewed people from a number of nationalities and its the quality of life they are after. So whether you run a corner store or are one of the large employers in the county i would highly reccomend going first with Donegal Daily.
