Another successful Otway 100 Scramble was held on Saturday 26th May, and was won by the family team of Odhran, Dara, John and Shane Patton, with a very impressive score of 51.7 nett.

In second place, two shots back were Gerry Gallagher, Philip Friel, Paul Murray and Patsy Gallagher, and the team of Orla Gallagher, John McClafferty, Mark Bradley and Celine Bradley just doing enough to take third spot.

Carrying on in another week of fine weather last Sunday 3rd, the gents competed in only the second singles stroke competition of the year so far.

Patsy Gallagher held his nerve and went about carving out a fine score of 59 nett, on tricky hard and fast greens, while Pat McNulty took second place a mere 8 shots back.

This Sunday the club will hold a members scramble when it is hoped to have as many past captains and lady captains participate, and afterwards over refreshments recall days before the wee club got to 125 years of age, or indeed even had a clubhouse!

Names should be in to the clubhouse before 11am for a 12 noon tee off.
