Wuertz unfazed by by the cold at Letterkenny Golf Club

CHRIS Wuertz (25.8) was undeterred by cold weather when he posted a great winning score of 39 points at the Wednesday Open on November 20. 

Chris took four pars and six bogeys out of the course. Kevin Roche (18.5) was hot on his heels with a good score of 38 points (bot) and third place went to Michael Collum (5.4).

There was a big turnout for the Saturday Open where Michael Scanlon (5.0) was Winner and Best Gross burning up the course with an exceptional score of 42 points.

Michael had four birdies on the front nine; on the 2nd, the 3rd, the 5th and the 9th.  

He also had 12 pars and one bogey.  

Peter Kavanagh (24.3) was runner up with 39 points and Kieran Walsh (11.6) was third with 37 points

The Sunday Members Open on November 24 attracted the biggest number of golfers for the week. 

The sheet was booked out. Gary Loveridge (11.3) was the winner on the day with 40 points Gary had a birdie on the 18th and also 11 pars making up his score.  

Runner-up was Gabriel McNulty (15.6) with 39 points (bot) and third was Dean James (13.7). Michael Collum (5.3) won Gross with 39 points
