IF all goes to plan and competitions are permitted, Buncrana Golf Club intend to start the competition calendar on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd July.
The club is aiming to start with an Open Stableford sponsored by Manor Motors Manorcunningham.
There will be regular competitions on Wednesdays and Thursday to enable for the competition calendar to catch up on the lost time and to ensure all the clubs sponsors are included in the annual competition calendar.
The club said: “The committee and members would like to take this opportunity to thank all the club sponsors for their continued support.
“This is a difficult time for all businesses but the support of our sponsors is very much appreciated and will help to ensure the viability of the club during these very uncertain and difficult times.
“The weekend competitions will commence with the Doherty (Toland) Brothers Memorial Open Stableford which will take place over Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July.
“There is much anticipation to the return to competitive golf and there is a timesheet in operation so book early to avoid any disappointment – contact details are 0749362279.”

There has been a great uptake on the fantastic membership deals available at present and there is still availability for new members to join. There are great membership deals at present Male €350.00, Lady €232.00, Beginner Male €260.00 and Lady Beginner €190.00 all fees inclusive of G.U.I. / Insurance.
