The Cruit Island Golf Club raised a fantastic €3,335 for charity from a recent ‘Play in Pink’ fundraiser.
The Captain’s fundraiser in June was a first for the club, inviting members to dress up and help raise funds for National Breast Cancer Research.
A coffee morning, competition and raffle added great amounts to the total raised.
Congratulations to best dressed ladies (joint winners) – Celine Markey and Monica McDonagh, who won a bottle of pink champagne donated by Time and Tide, Annagry. The best dressed gent was Robert Casey who won wine donated by SuperValu.
The proceeds from the event were presented to Darragh Mc Gowan by Lady Captain Liz Boyle.
