The Donegal Camino took on an incredibly poignant tone yesterday when over 70 volunteers climbed Errigal mountain at sunrise.
As they reached the summit, they were treated to a moving performance by Matt McGranaghan, a renowned fiddle player from Castlefin. Matt played some beautiful songs against the stunning backdrop of the sunrise over Donegal.
Yesterday’s gathering was not just about the climb, the scenery and the music. Many participants in the Donegal Camino challenge are dedicating their journey to people affected by cancer. This moment at the summit was especially significant for those walking in tribute and memory of loved ones lost to cancer.

The unique 7 day walking festival raises funds for Cancer Care West.
