Winter League begins at Buncrana Golf Club – still time to enter

The Owen Mc Daid (Roe) Mini Bus & Taxi Hire Winter League commenced last weekend and the Sunday players had the best of the weather conditions at Buncrana Golf Club. 

The best score over the two days was recorded by Derek Murphy and John Doherty, this pairing played some excellent golf on Sunday morning to shoot 44 points.

The Winter League will continue for the next five weeks and there is still time for any pairings that may have missed the first week to enter.

Next weekend’s format will be both scores to count from the pairs and this should make it a very interesting weekend of golf.

Christmas Hamper

The qualifying for the Christmas Hamper has commenced and it will take 19 pts for 0-6 handicappers and 21 pts for 7 handicappers up to qualify. Hamper qualifying can be in conjunction for the winter league competition.

Meal Deal

The Meal Deal will finish this Thursday 21st September and the entry fee for the Meal Deal is €20.00 for entry to the 18 hole Stableford competition and a two-course meal in the award winning Drift Inn Restaurant after the round.

Find The Joker Fundraising

The” Find the Joker” has a Jackpot of €875.00, lines only cost €2 each and this draw is open to members and non-members alike. Lines can be purchased in the clubhouse or through chief seller Oliver Doherty.

Membership Deal

There is a new membership deal available at present which includes G.U.I. and Insurance fees and start golfing from now until March 2019 and even better golf all year round. That’s 18 months of golf for the price of 12 months a deal which is to good to miss, the fees are as follows, Male €333.00, Lady €232.00, Male Beginner €260.00, Lady Beginner €190.00, contact the clubhouse for further details on 0729362279.
