Congratulations to our Pierce Purcell team that beat a strong Letterkenny Golf Club team this evening to move into the last 16 in Ulster.

John McGinley & Manus McClafferty won the first point at home and were soon followed by Ger Doran & Seamus O’Hanlon who secured a win on the 18th green in Letterkenny.

With the other two home matches dormie, it was Paul Harkin & Conor Ó’Gallachóir who were the heroes to secure the winning point by winning 1up. Gerry Doohan & Shane Corless were two up with two to play when they were called in.

Francis Boyle & Brian McGee played some great golf also but fell to a narrow defeat away in Letterkenny.

A brilliant performance from all the lads. Well done to Manager Mark McGinley, his team and panel.
